Take this beginner friendly class to learn how to make beautiful removable pillow covers for your home.
Skills covered include how to:
- - Create your own bias tape
- - Create your own fabric-covered cording for use as trim
- - Insert a concealed zipper
Supply List:
- Pillow insert 18” x 18”
- Fabric for pillow front and back – 2/3 yard medium weight woven or lightweight woven fused to Pellon 101 ShapeFlex
- Fabric for cording – 13” square (a fat quarter is sufficient)
- Cording – 2 ¼ yards of ¼” cotton cord for piping

- Zipper- all-purpose zipper (closed) in coordinating color – size 20” or 22” Coordinating thread – polyester – to match zipper, binding and pillow front fabric
TOOLS
- Sewing Machine in good working order with zipper foot or adjustable zipper foot Rotary cutter and mat and 18” quilting ruler (optional)
- Chalk marking pencil
- Frixon marker
- Fabric shears
- Patchwork pins or Wonderclips
- Needle – recommended Topstitch 90
- Stiletto (optional)
- Hot Hemmer (optional)
